Domain authentication records to keep your emails out of spam.

  • SPF — lists which servers may send email on behalf of your domain. Example: v=spf1 a mx ~all
  • DKIM — adds a digital signature to every message, proving it wasn’t altered in transit.
  • DMARC — tells receivers what to do with messages that fail SPF and DKIM. To start: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:admin@yourdomain

On our hosting

If the domain uses our nameservers, SPF and DKIM records are created automatically when the hosting account is set up. To check, look under E-mail Manager → E-mail Accounts or DNS Management in DirectAdmin; if DKIM is off, enable it there or contact support.

Add the DMARC record under DNS records as a TXT record named _dmarc.
