Logging in to phpMyAdmin

In DirectAdmin, open phpMyAdmin from Extra Features → phpMyAdmin or MySQL Management.

Import

  1. Select your database on the left.
  2. Go to the Import tab at the top.
  3. Choose the .sql (or .sql.gz) file and click Go.

Export

  1. Select the database and go to Export.
  2. Choose the “Quick” method and SQL format, then click Go — the file downloads to your computer.
If a very large database won’t upload, upload it compressed (.gz) or contact support and we’ll import it on the server side.
