Uploading site files (File Manager)

Site files must be in domains/yourdomain/public_html. When a visitor opens the domain, the index.php or index.html in that folder is served.

1. In DirectAdmin, open System Info & Files → File Manager.
2. Go to the domains → yourdomain → public_html folder.
3. Delete the default index.html file.
4. Upload your site as a .zip archive with Upload.
5. Right-click the archive, choose Extract and unpack the files into public_html.
6. If the files were extracted into a subfolder, move them directly into public_html.
