Your domain stays online during the transfer — your site and email keep working. A transfer usually adds +1 year to the domain.
Before transferring
- The domain must have been registered or transferred at least 60 days ago.
- The domain must not have expired.
- The domain owner’s email must work — a confirmation email may be sent there.
Steps
- In your current registrar’s panel, remove the domain’s transfer lock.
- Get the domain’s EPP / auth code from your registrar.
- On our Domain Transfer page, enter the domain and EPP code and add it to the cart.
- Pay. Once the old registrar approves the transfer (usually 5–7 days), the domain appears under My domains.
